Diversity Is Our Strength
Between our core team, board and advisory council, our organization brings together decades of professional expertise and first-hand experience across a wide array of sectors and topics, ranging from drone technology, GIS, manned aviation, disaster management, nature conservation, community economic empowerment, and educational policy to storytelling, gender justice & equality, intersectionality, structural transformation, entrepreneurship, M&E and more. We come from a wide diversity of backgrounds, span over 19 countries and range in age from the late 20s to the late 60s.
And we do it all remotely to bring together the best talent, independent on geography. Our cultural, personal and professional diversity is our key strength.

How We Work
We take a decentralized power approach not only for our work with the Flying Labs Network, but also for the management of our organization. Our Holacracy-inspired approach allows us to decentralize power within our organization, and to distribute authority and decision making throughout the organization. This approach seeks to create an adaptive and dynamic workplace where team members are empowered to influence the organization's direction.
This approach also contributes to our organIzational development goals and is very appropriate for our small and mighty team. By replacing traditional top-down management with a distributed approach, our Holacracy-inspired approach seeks to enhance collaboration, increase efficiency, and enable our organization to rapidly respond to change, ultimately promoting a more flexible and resilient work environment.
