Storytelling
Michelle is a writer and editor with a keen interest in accessibility in the information age. She is excited by the prospects that technology offers for the centring of diverse and decolonised narratives. Committed to inclusivity and community, she is curious about the ways in which disenfranchised people use language and storytelling to empower themselves.
Prior to joining WeRobotics, Michelle worked in publishing, developing content for a variety of fiction and non-fiction projects, including novels, children’s storybooks and edutainment resources, self-help books, training manuals, school curriculum textbooks, and shortform literature. She values stories that validate the spectrum of human experience and believes in their power to drive human-centred policy changes.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the United States International University – Africa and a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University. Her goal always is to use her skills and experience to tell stories that are both compelling and impactful.
