Collaboration & Solution Spaces

We build trusted spaces that enable local experts and global partners to collaborate, innovate, and co-create. The outcome: technology solutions that are locally relevant, locally owned, and globally shared.

Fragmentation and silos remains a key challenge across the Tech4Good, humanitarian, and development sectors. Many actors work on similar problems without sufficient collaboration. This leads to duplicated efforts and solutions that are rarely built on shared understanding or sustained beyond individual interventions. While many actors generate valuable insights and innovations, the absence of structured and intentional spaces for collaboration and joint problem-solving limits their collective impact.

We build two types of trusted and structured spaces that bring together local experts and global partners to collaborate, innovate safely:

Our Work Collaboration Space

Collaboration spaces

Spaces that provide structured environments, such as conferences and learning projects, where local and global actors can come together to openly align and share around shared challenges and priorities. These spaces are designed to foster trust, transparency, and peer-to-peer learning, helping to reduce duplication and build a shared understanding of what works, where, and why.

Our Work Solution Space

Solution spaces

Spaces that focus on developing, testing and refining concrete, applied tools, methodologies, applications, and evidence-based approaches. They are informed by locally defined needs, shared priorities, practice and learning. And they are intentionally designed to be replicable and adaptable across different geographies and contexts. Replicability ensures that solutions move beyond isolated pilots and can be reused, adapted, and improved across contexts.

These spaces help reduce duplication, connect learning across geographies, and support sustained use and adaptation of solutions. They provide:

  • An opportunity for all actors to bring in their unique expertise and build on each other’s experiences and skills
  • An opportunity for partners and funders to multiply the impact of their investment into Tech4Good ideas and initiatives by investing into collaborative solutions instead of projects
  • The opportunity to turn one-off, siloed projects into locally-led, globally supported solutions that are replicable across geographies
  • Trusted, lasting relationships created through open sharing, joint learning and alignment that outlast projects
