To start off September, two of our co-founders spoke at two important conferences.

The agenda was developed in consultation with key organisations, such as UNOCHA, World Vision, UNOPS, USAID, Red Cross, World Bank, Aidmatrix, and CIPS. This year’s programme focused on best practice in logistics and transport, Procurement & Supply Chain Management,Partnerships & Financing, Security & Logistical Challenges in the Middle East, Emergency Communications & Operations.
Patrick Meier gave a keynote speech at this year’s event which took place in Washington DC. He spoke about the applications of AI & Robotics to aid & development efforts in Nepal and around the world. You can find more information about the summit here: http://disaster-relief.aidforum.org/
InterDrone 2016 was the largest dedicated commercial drone show in the world with 155 exhibitors and nearly 4,000 visitors. Featuring technical conferences for builders, buyers, and flyers of commercial drones, InterDrone brought the entire industry together in one place, Las Vegas Nevada.
Andrew Schroeder was a speaker and panelist on the “Drones are Good: How UAVS are Saving the World” panel. In recent years, drones have gotten a bad rap for their military and surveillance capabilities, but there are so many more possibilities for use that can help build a better world. Examples include nature conservation, animal poaching prevention and herd measurement, testing air quality, and many many others. The panel discussed some of the most innovative ideas and uses for peaceful happy drones and even how you may be able to help. Learn more about the event here: http://www.interdrone.com/2016
