WeRobotics is thrilled to announce the addition of three exceptional individuals to our board of directors. Adriana Espinel, Prof. Jonathan Makuwira and Lorenzo Martelletti bring a wealth of experience, a diversity of skills, and a shared commitment to our mission of amplifying the Power of Local.

Adriana Espinel is the counsel for Xtrategy’s Arbitration and International Law practice and founder of Espinel & Asociados Abogados SAS. With over 24 years of experience in arbitration, energy, utilities, and business law, she has advised multinational corporations and government entities across Colombia and Latin America. Her contributions to Colombia’s energy transition and renewable energy projects, coupled with her teaching roles at prestigious universities, underscore her passion for environmental conservation and commitment to sustainable development. Prof. Jonathan Makuwira, a distinguished educator and researcher, joins WeRobotics with a rich background in development studies. Currently serving as a Professor at the Bingu School of Culture and Heritage, Malawi University of Science and Technology, his research spans urban poverty, climate change adaptation, and community philanthropy, among other critical areas. Prof. Makuwira’s expertise in development governance and social justice will be invaluable as WeRobotics and the Flying Labs Network continue to address global challenges through innovative solutions. Read his full bio.

With over two decades of international experience in the geospatial field, Lorenzo Martelletti is renowned for his expertise in the UAV industry and his unwavering passion for sustainability. As the former Chief Commercial Officer at Pix4D SA, Lorenzo played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a global leader in photogrammetric software for drones. His dedication to environmental conservation extends beyond his academic background and professional life and into volunteer projects for community benefit as well.
