November 3rd, 2016
WeRobotics recently hosted an engaging webinar on Marine Robotics. Our featured guests were Ryan N. Smith and Ulyana Horodyskyj. Ryan, who holds a PhD in Ocean & Resources Engineering from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa, gave a very detailed presentation on the existing technologies and capabilities in the marine robotics space. Ulyana holds a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is the founder of the nonprofit organization Science in the Wild. Her presentation focused on her work using marine robotics to monitor glacial lakes in Nepal. The marine robotics space is extremely interesting and full of potential - we hope you enjoy this webinar.
