The Global Flying Labs Network: "It's a Family. It's a Village."
May 2nd, 2023
"It's a family. Whether we are in different countries or spaces, we're all interconnected," said Tawanda when we placed a camera in front of him and asked, "Why do you love being part of the Flying Labs Network?"
We would later pop this question to 22 more people from 20 Flying Labs across the world. We captured their replies and thoughts in these less-than-one-minute videos—shorts. Through these shorts, we aim to celebrate the culture of the Flying Labs Network and its people.
"Sustainability is part of the fabric that binds the Flying Lab's Network. It's about the various opportunities that we can share."
In one of the shorts, Tinah refers to the Flying Labs Network as a village that has taken a crowd to build. The crowd of this village is made up of fantastic people, as Agnes describes. MaryJane, who loves the camaraderie in our village, thinks we are like-minded individuals coming together for the love of drone technology and the humanitarian aspect in every place.
Erika loves being part of this village because having all the knowledge in one country, business, or community is challenging. Joel loves access to the latest technology on drones and being able to access the knowledge base accumulated by Flying Labs through the years.
Obaid feels he is part of a global initiative linked with technology but with the Sustainable Development Goals. Tiam, one of our elders, loves it because of the sustainability of the Flying Labs Network. Leka agrees: "Sustainability is part of the fabric that binds the Flying Lab's Network. It's about the various opportunities that we can share."
As you watch these videos, we hope they lead you to discover why we love being part of the Flying Labs Network. Then, we hope they take you on a journey of adventure to our 40+ Flying Labs across the world. When you are done watching and basking in the afterglow of their inspiration, and you feel like you want to join our village or get involved, please visit our website to learn more about us.
To this end, "Our strength is our unity," Ronald says in one of the shorts. You can watch them all here.
