WeRobotics co-founder Andrew Schroeder recently spoke at the 7th International Conference of Crisis Mappers (ICCM), which took place earlier this year in Manila, Philippines. Andrew spoke about the problems of the drone response to the 2015 Nepal Earthquake, and how we can solve them going forward by establishing local capacity and government buy-in. The idea that communities can be trained in robotics technologies, and then can go on to develop their own solutions to local problems and challenges is central to WeRobotic’s vision.
