Mpho Matsitse is a seasoned C-suite executive, board advisor, and global thought leader with over 15 years of experience driving large-scale growth, digital transformation, and value creation across Africa, EMEA, and Southeast Asia. He currently serves as Chief Industries Officer at leading African Tech firm Gijima, where he leads a multi-industry portfolio spanning financial services, public sector, retail, energy, telecoms, and mining, with responsibility for driving emerging market growth, go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, and growth execution across a US$175m+ revenue base.
Throughout his career, Mpho has held senior leadership roles such as Regional Vice President for Business Value Engineering across 3 continents, Executive Sales Director, and Director for Industry & Value Advisory at global organisations including SAP, KPMG, BCX, and IFS, where he built and led large, cross-functional teams, managed complex P&Ls, and closed enterprise transactions exceeding US$50m. His work sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and societal impact — translating AI, data, cloud, and digital platforms into measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, and inclusive growth. He has advised CEOs, boards, and public-sector leaders on transformation programmes across highly regulated and emerging-market environments.
Mpho is a Harvard Business School–trained executive, a Global Keynote Speaker and an award-winning commercial leader, recognized as Inspirational Leader of the Year in 2025 at the Future of Leadership Awards. Mpho also supports causes such as Youth Empowerment and End-GBV Alliances as an active member and ambassador. He brings to the WeRobotics Board deep expertise in ecosystem building, localization, governance, and scaling impact through value-led partnerships.
