New Flying Labs Network website

What better way to step into the final months of 2024 than with a beautiful, brand-new website? With a fresh design and user-friendly interface, the new Flying Labs Network website effectively and engagingly showcases how the local experts within the Network are using drones, data, and AI to drive  positive social impact in their communities.

This new website highlights how Flying Labs strengthen the capacity of stakeholders in civil society, government, academia, research institutes, and local communities in their countries to sustainably and responsibly incorporate emerging technologies into their work. Visitors can now easily find comprehensive information about the Network as a whole as well as individual Flying Labs by region. It is also now easier than ever to explore extensive blog posts, use cases, interactive story maps, impact stories, and other resources that detail Flying Labs’ projects and training programs in STEM/Youth, disaster response, agriculture, climate action, development, and health.

Additionally, as Flying Labs continue to build, facilitate, and support thriving local ecosystems to responsibly and sustainably localize drones, data and AI in their countries, the new website provides regular updates on important Flying Labs events, workshops, and conferences.

The website is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the work of the Flying Labs Network, including drone, data, and AI professionals and enthusiasts as well as current and potential partners, funders, and clients. Whether you are interested in drone and data training programs, connecting with a drone services provider in your country, exploring data-driven and community-centric sustainable development initiatives, or finding replicable use cases that demonstrate how emerging technologies are being used for social good in the Global South, the Flying Labs Network website has it all.

Special thanks to Minds On Design Lab (MOD-Lab), a leading web design agency specializing in working with non-profit organizations. Their expertise and guidance has been invaluable in creating a website that not only clearly communicates the mission of the Flying Labs Network but is also optimized for remote areas, where many Flying Labs work, ensuring quick loading even with limited connectivity.
